What is PRP Microneedling?

PRP Microneedling is a specialised service where the client’s own Platelet Rich Plasma is re-administered into the skin via our industry leading Dermapen Microneedling device, in turn helping to treat skin concerns such as atrophic/hypertrophic acne scarring, hyperpigmentation & ageing. Tiny microneedles stimulate a trauma response, tricking the skin into healing itself and bringing to the surface brand new, healthy skin cells.

How Does PRP Microneedling Work?

PRP Microneedling works by creating micro-channels in the skin, causing controlled trauma to the skin’s surface to create a mass healing response. This service is enhanced by the use of the clients own Platelet Rich Plasma which in turn will provide a mass healing response by not only repairing skin cells, but multiplying ones that aren’t present. This will restructure and formulate the skin cell makeup, leading to a dramatically visibly rejuvenated appearance.

Who is PRP Microneedling Suitable For?

 

PRP Microneedling is suitable for all skin tones, as well as extremely well suited to skins that suffer with post inflammatory acne scarring, atrophic & hypertrophic pitted scarring, hyperpigmentation & severe skin texture concerns  It is also highly recommended for anti-aged skins. It is not recommended for active acne skins.

What are the Treatment Benefits?

This treatment will dramatically improve and remove the appearance of all scarring & skin discolouration, as well as distinctly improve and multiple the production of collagen. The skin texture will be transformed and the skins visible look will appear brighter, plumper, more youthful and so much smoother.

How Many Treatments Are Required?

We recommend an initial course of 3-6 treatments spaced 6-12 weeks apart, followed then by maintenance.
